ANNIVERSARY ALE 3 – COMING 1 DECEMBER
Whet your appetite for the BIG ONE!!!

Murray’s Anniversary Ale 3 2009 breaks new ground in Australian craft brewing.

Each year we brew a big wheat and barley wine at 10% ABV and age it in oak for a period to further the complexity of flavour. Each year we add a ‘twist’ to the recipe. This year we’ve literally gone ‘wild’...

What a beer! It’s jet black and pours with a dark chocolate head. It’s the consistency of motor oil. It comes in at 10% alcohol by volume and offers a “massive, intense drinking experience”, according to the man who brewed it.

MURRAY’S SASSY BELGIAN BLONDE NAMED ‘TOP 20 AUSSIE BEER’

Murray’s Sassy Belgian Blond has been recognised as one of Australia’s ‘Top 20 Beers’ in James Hallliday’s Top 100 Wines magazine, published in The Australian newspaper on 10 November.

“Sassy? You bet. This is a lovely Belgian-inspired ale with hints of orange and spices, possibly coriander seed or cloves, that are always fresh and arousing. Some Belgian styles can be too heavy, but this one isn’t,” reads the review. Four stars!

The Pub and Brewery were also featured in the magazine in a separate profile.

MURRAY’S ANNIVERSARY ALE NOW AVAILABLE
In celebration of our first year of unconventional brewing, Australian craft brewer, Murray’s Craft Brewing Co., has released our inaugural Anniversary Ale - a unique wheat and barley wine that’s designed to improve with age.

Tasting dates

If you're a Murray's craft beer virgin, you can now try before you buy by participating in one of our in-store tastings - being held each week in Sydney and the NSW North Coast. For details on a tasting near you, read on. If you can't find a tasting event near you, ask your local to call us and we'll do our best to get there.

Quick Note: First North Coast beer deliveries
Well, we really feel like we have achieved great results. The first run of bottles of Murray's Nirvana Pale Ale and Murray's Sassy Blonde have been delivered to around 45 outlets spread from Port Macquarie in the South all the way up to Coffs Harbour in the North, just in time for the Christmas rush. The response to this fantastic handcrafted beer has really met all the expectations of each customer. We can't ask for much more than selling out the first run of Nirvana, with the first run of Sassy blonde not far behind. Graeme and Shawn in the brewery are working flat out keeping up with the demand for both beers, with another 3 runs of Nirvana on the go and 2 more runs of Sassy. The challenge now is to keep them on their toes, and our customers enjoying the beer we love to drink.

STOP PRESS: Murray's first Anniversary Ale coming soon!
To celebrate our first year of unconventional brewing, Murray's will release a limited edition age-worthy brew in February!
