MURRAY’S SASSY BELGIAN BLONDE NAMED ‘TOP 20 AUSSIE BEER’

Murray’s Sassy Belgian Blond has been recognised as one of Australia’s ‘Top 20 Beers’ in James Hallliday’s Top 100 Wines magazine, published in The Australian newspaper on 10 November.

“Sassy? You bet. This is a lovely Belgian-inspired ale with hints of orange and spices, possibly coriander seed or cloves, that are always fresh and arousing. Some Belgian styles can be too heavy, but this one isn’t,” reads the review. Four stars!

The Pub and Brewery were also featured in the magazine in a separate profile.

Murray’s Craft Brewing Co. wins coveted beer awards
Murray' s Craft Brewing Co. has won Silver medals for both its entrants in this year’s Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) - Murray’s Nirvana Pale Ale and Murray’s Sassy Blonde.

Good things come in small packages
Not the biggest brewery. Not the most entries. And definitely not the brewery with the most money . . . but we've still managed to snaffle two medals from two entries at the inaugural Sydney Royal Beer Competition - a Silver for Murray's Nirvana Pale (the highest award issued), and a Bronze or Murray's Sassy Blonde.
